Hyper-V may be the least used of the hypervisors, but it is still very powerful.  It is highly useful, especially for small businesses where they only need to run a small number of ancillary services in VMs without high CPU needs.  As it is basically “free” with a Windows Server installation, this is something many businesses can leverage for minimal cost.  While not necessarily as robust (or as well documented) as other options like ESXi, Hyper-V still has a place for many small businesses that simply cannot spend the money for a large scale (and expensive) environment.
